Ah, the unassuming envelope of onion soup mix. It's more than just for onion soup (or dip). It adds tremendous flavor (and convenience) in all these recipes.

They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.
The name, vodka, comes from the Russian phrase zhiznennaia voda, or "water of life". It can be made from everything from potatoes to beets. It's considered to be fairly flavorless which makes it a great liquor for mixed drinks.

Thanks for the heads up on the salt. I only added 1 teaspoon and it was delicious. Definitely doesn't need one tablespoon!!! Also, nowhere sells 9.25 ounce cans of tuna so I had to use smaller ones combined, just in case you are going crazy looking for some giant can of tuna that doesn't exist.

Way too salty. Did you mean 1 tsp instead of 1 Tbsp. I should have known better, but I put 1/2 Tbsp. first, thinking 1 whole Tbsp was too much, and I wish I would've put only one tsp. It was so salty that I had too add sour cream and cottage cheese to tone it down. After that it was edible, though I couldn't get the salty taste out of my mind.
