Kotobuki Sweet Potatoes

ingredients
1 pound Kotobuki sweet potatoes
1/3 cup sugar
1 teaspoon soy sauce
2 tablespoons water
1 teaspoon sesame seeds
canola oil
directions
Cut the Kotobuki sweet potatoes into small pieces. Heat the canola oil in a frying pan and fry the potatoes over medium heat until browned.
In a pan, mix together the sugar, water and soy sauce. Cook over low heat until sticky, then remove the pan from the stove and add the sweet potatoes, coating them in the mixture. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve hot.
