- add review
- #3995
30-60 minutes
ingredients
16 ounces frozen corn
2 cups crushed crackers
salt and pepper
2 cups milk
directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Use a casserole which is just larger than your package of corn.
Layer alternating layers of frozen corn, (home packed is of course best), about one inch thick with a handful of crushed crackers. Season each layer with salt and pepper. Place a nice thick layer of crackers on top. Pour milk to fill within 3/4 inch of top of corn/cracker mixture. Bake for about 25-30 minutes, until hot and cracker topping browned.

Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.
Beer makes batters better, meat more tender, and sauces more flavorful.
