Corn is cooked in a creamy cheese sauce. Great side dish for potlucks!
3 packages (16 ounce size) frozen corn
12 ounces cream cheese, cubed
1/4 cup butter, cubed
3 tablespoons water
3 tablespoons milk
2 tablespoons sugar
6 slices American cheese, diced
Lightly grease the inside of the crock pot.
In a bowl, combine the corn, cream cheese, butter, water, milk, sugar, and American cheese. Mix well then spoon into the crock pot.
Cover the crock pot and cook on low heat for 3-4 hours or until the cheese is melted. Stir well and serve immediately.

I recommend giving this a stir half way through the cooking time to make sure the cheeses melt evenly. I stirred it only before serving and had to put it back in the crock for alittle longer as some of the cheese was still clumped. Delicious - just stir it!

Technically I'd say this corn feeds more than 6 but it's kinda addicting so you'll probably eat more than you intend to :) It's nice and creamy with just enough cheesy.

I make this often for family and potlucks - always a big hit!
I question 3-16oz. packages of corn for 6 servings.
