The name, vodka, comes from the Russian phrase zhiznennaia voda, or "water of life". It can be made from everything from potatoes to beets. It's considered to be fairly flavorless which makes it a great liquor for mixed drinks.

1 package (8 ounce size) cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons white sugar
3/4 cup light or dark brown sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 cup crushed or broken peanuts
directions
Mix together all except the peanuts until smooth. Stir in peanuts. Let stand several hours or overnight to develop flavors.
Serve with sliced apples (It's also good with chunks of banana or sliced pears).
