I want to make these for a cookie exchange. Do these have to stay refrigerated. Yesterday I made a batch similar to these and when they were at room temp they were too mushy to pick up, although they were still amazing. How would you package them?

These came out great and everyone loved them. They were easy to make. however I did not use shortening in the chocolate.
