Chow Mein With Chicken And Chinese Cabbage

ingredients
1/4 peanut oil
1 pound raw, sliced chicken
1 1/2 pound Chinese cabbage (Napa or bok choy)
5 stalks celery
1 Spanish onion, chopped roughly
1 can sliced mushrooms
1/2 green bell pepper, sliced
4 teaspoons soy sauce
2 teaspoons oyster sauce
2 teaspoons sugar
1 1/2 teaspoon MSG (optional)
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
1 pound bean sprouts
4 teaspoons cornstarch
directions
Heat oil. Cook chicken for 2 minutes. Add vegetables. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, MSG, and salt. Mix. Cover and cook 5 min. Add sprouts, cook 5 minutes, covered. Mix cornstarch with a little water. Add to vegetables. Mix well. Add about 6 drops of sesame oil. Serve with Chow Mein noodles.
For BEEF AND GREENS: Substitute 10 oz. thinly sliced beef, 1-1/2 Lb green peppers, bamboo shoots, broccoli, carrots, etc.
