Pineapple Chicken Chow Mein

ingredients
1/4 cup oil
1 cup sliced onions
3 cups diagonally sliced celery
1 can bean sprouts, undrained (16 ounce size)
1 can pineapple tidbits, drained (13.25 ounce size)
2 chicken bouillon cubes
3 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 cups slivered cooked chicken
2 cans (3 ounce size) chow mein noodles
directions
About 25 minutes before dinner, in large kettle or pan, heat oil. Add onions, celery, bean sprouts with liquid, pineapple, bouillon cubes, dissolved in 1/2 cup hot water, salt, pepper and brown sugar. Cover. Bring to boil. Mix cornstarch with soy sauce; Stir into vegetable mixture.
Add chicken. Cook stirring 3 to 6 minutes or until smooth and thickened. Serve over hot crisp chow mein noodles.
