Grilled Steak and Onion Salad

ingredients
1 pound boneless beef sirloin steak
1 large onion, cut in small cubes
1/2 head romaine lettuce, washed dried and torn in bite size pieces
1/2 head green or red leaf lettuce, washed,dried and tornin bite size pieces
1 cup baby field greens (optional)
Tarragon-Dijon Dressing
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon fresh tarragon
1/2 teaspoon salt (optional)
directions
Grill the steak for 4 1/4 to 5 minutes or longer for desired doneness. remove and set aside to cool.
Place the onions on the grill, season to taste cook for about 3 minutes.
When steak is cool enough to handle, slice it across the grain into bite size strips and place in the salad bowl to cool. Add the salad and the dressing and mix well and serve.
