Ah, the unassuming envelope of onion soup mix. It's more than just for onion soup (or dip). It adds tremendous flavor (and convenience) in all these recipes.

Great recipe and no doubt authentic - just a little too sweet. Use 1/3 the sugar and this is a hit with everyone. Will use as our go-to cole slaw! Thank you for posting this.

I had never had a sweet coleslaw before but my southern husband always talked about it. Tried this recipe and we LOVED it! It's great. I will be making coleslaw this way from now on.

I absolutely love this coleslaw. It tastes great right after you make it whereas alot of coleslaw recipes require sitting overnight. If you're from the south, you'll love it.
