Creamy Turkey & Potato Casserole

ingredients
1 package (2 pound size) frozen hash brown potatoes
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 cup milk
1 pint sour cream
4 tablespoons melted butter
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup chopped green bell pepper
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
4 cups cooked chicken or turkey
directions
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix well. Place in a large 9 x 13 greased baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees F, uncovered, for about 1 hour.

Great base recipe, and an excellent and somewhat different way to use up those Thanksgiving leftovers. But, it was a bit on the bland side. I followed the recipe to the letter, but next time would add celery salt, pepper, and onion powder to spice it up a bit. I'd also add more cheese on top.
