Crab And Cheddar Waffles

ingredients
1 1/4 cup flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 cup grated sharp Cheddar cheese
4 1/2 ounces crab meat, flaked
2 tablespoons finely sliced green onion
1 large egg, fork beaten
1 1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup oil
directions
Stir first 5 ingredients into large bowl. Add cheese, crab, and green onion. Stir.
Combine egg, milk and oil in small bowl. Add to flour mixture. Mix until just moistened. Do not over-mix.
Cook about 1/2 cup batter in hot waffle iron until golden. Repeat with remaining batter.
