This iconic whiskey is a "Jack of all trades" when it comes to cooking. Toss it in some pasta, as a savory dipping sauce, and even bake it into something sweet.

A casserole version of the German-Russian cabbage and beef-filled yeast bread dough. This easy version adds a cheesy mushroom sauce to the filling and tops it with biscuits.

2 pounds ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
1 head cabbage, chopped
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup Cheddar cheese, grated
1 can biscuits
Brown hamburger, drain and add onion and cabbage. Simmer until cabbage and onion are just tender. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add soup and cheese. Heat through.
Pour into 9 x 13 inch pan. Top with drop biscuits. Bake at 375 degrees F until biscuits are brown.

Only thing I do different is not stir in the cheese but put it on top under the biscuit layer. Comfort food.
