ingredients
1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 pinch sugar
1 egg, beaten
2 cups buttermilk
1/2 cup water
directions
Combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and sugar in a bowl. Mix well.
In another bowl, whisk together the egg, buttermilk, and water.
Stir the liquid mixture into the dry mixture. Mix well. The batter will be thin.
Heat a greased griddle over medium heat. Ladle the pancake batter onto the hot griddle to form small pancakes. Let cook until bubbles form on the top. Turn once.
Serve hot.
