ingredients
1 can (8 ounce size) tomato paste
1/2 cup beef broth
1 onion, chopped
3 1/2 pounds chuck roast
2 tablespoons oil
1/2 cup cider vinegar
1/4 cup ketchup
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon brown mustard
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
directions
Combine tomato paste, beef broth and onion in shallow dish and add roast. Cover and marinate for 8 hours.
Remove roast from marinade. Combine marinade with oil, vinegar ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, paprika and garlic and pour over roast.
Cover and bake at 350 degrees F for 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Skim fat from sauce and serve.

This is probably the most tender chuck roast I've ever cooked. I think the marinade helped make it more tender. Very good recipe, thank you for sharing it!
