1 pound peeled deveined shrimp
1/4 cup vegetable oil or margarine
1/4 cup flour
1 cup chopped onions
1/2 cup chopped celery
2 cloves minced garlic
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
2 cans (13 ounce size) chicken broth

Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.

I liked this. I was afraid it would be fishy with the oysters but it wasn't.
