The name, vodka, comes from the Russian phrase zhiznennaia voda, or "water of life". It can be made from everything from potatoes to beets. It's considered to be fairly flavorless which makes it a great liquor for mixed drinks.

ingredients
1 box (6 ounce size) long grain and wild rice mix
5 cups water
1 package (10 ounce size) frozen chopped broccoli
1 medium carrot, shredded
1 teaspoon dried minced onion
1 can (10 ounce size) condensed cream of chicken soup
1 package (8 ounce size) cream cheese, cubed
directions
In a large saucepan, combine rice contents, seasoning packet and water, bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring once.
Stir in the broccoli, carrot and onion. Cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Stir in soup and cream cheese.
Cook and stir until cream cheese is melted.
