This iconic whiskey is a "Jack of all trades" when it comes to cooking. Toss it in some pasta, as a savory dipping sauce, and even bake it into something sweet.

4 New York strip steaks, 3/4-inch thick (about 3/4 pound each)
1 package McCormick Grill Mates Southwest marinade mix
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon grated orange peel
Mix marinade mix, brown sugar and orange peel in small bowl. Rub mixture evenly over steaks.
Grill steaks over medium-high heat 6 to 8 minutes per side or until desired doneness.
Notes: Just a touch of citrus enlivens the Southwest flavor in this quick and easy rub for steak.

Love buffalo wings? Get that same hot, zippy flavor in everything from deviled eggs to enchiladas. And of course: wings.
Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.
