Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.

we have been making this punch for years we actually combine all the ingredients except the giner ale and freeze it over night in large zip lock bags. I take it out about 5 hours before serving and add the ginger ale to the mix. makes it more like a slushy

I made this punch for my mother's 75th birthday party. I used Sprite instead of Ginger Ale. I also made ice rings using 1 big Bundt pan and 6 of the mini Bundt pans. I used frozen lime-ade mixed by the directions on the frozen can. It was so pretty and everyone absolutly loved it. They all kept coming back for more.

This punch is really good. I made it with my daughter for my sister's baby shower because she had a rainforest theme. We put plastic toy monkeys to float in it. Everyone thought it was great. It was so simple to make. I only put one cup of sugar instead of two and it was plenty sweet so you don't really need the two cups of sugar.
