Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.
Not to be confused with evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk is very sweet (and very sticky) and used primarily in desserts.

I've made this several times. It always turns out great and my friends ask me to make it when we have a potluck. I make it as the recipe states. The red pepper gives it a great kick (if you like a little spicy).

This was great. I served it to the ladies in my sewing group and they all asked for the recipe. I added a chopped red pepper to the dish. Also, I didn't have crushed red pepper for the sauce, so, I used chilli powder. This one's a keeper.
