Spam Swiss Pie

ingredients
1 deep-dish pie shell (9-inch)
6 large eggs
1 cup whipping cream
1/8 teaspoon ground pepper
1 can (12 ounce size) Spam, cubed
1/4 cup chopped onion
2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
directions
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Bake pie shell 6 to 8 minutes. Cool. Reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees F.
In a bowl, beat eggs, cream and pepper. Stir in Spam and onion.
Sprinkle 1 cup cheese in pie shell. Pour egg mixture over. Sprinkle remaining cheese over.
Bake for 45 to 55 minutes or until eggs are set.
