It may look like a sad little package shoved in the back of your freezer, but frozen spinach actually has a lot of culinary uses (and some may surprise you).

1 1/2 cup prepared mustard
5 tablespoons brown sugar
4 tablespoons tomato paste
3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Combine the mustard, brown sugar, tomato paste, vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce in a saucepan and stir until smooth. Add the remaining ingredients.
Bring the sauce to a simmer over medium heat and let cook for 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Do not let it overcook or boil, it should just be at a gentle simmer.
Remove the pan from the heat. Let the sauce cool completely before using it. Store leftover sauce in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.

Not to be confused with evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk is very sweet (and very sticky) and used primarily in desserts.
