Winter Fruit Soup

ingredients
1/4 pound mixed dried fruit
1/4 pound dried apricots
4 cups water
1 tablespoon quick cooking tapioca
1/2 cup sugar
1 cinnamon stick
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 cup light cream
directions
Combine all ingredients, except lemon juice and cream, in a heavy nonreactive saucepan over high heat. Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 25-30 minutes or until fruit is tender. Add lemon juice. Serve warm or chilled with light cream.
