Brown the ground beef in a large saucepan over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess grease.

What are ranch beans? Pork and beans?
They are pinto beans in a sauce. Not as sweet as pork and beans.

Since I cannot eat anything with peppers or chile, I just use plain diced tomatoes.
