ingredients
1/2 cup regular or light mayonnaise
1/4 cup Italian salad dressing
3 cups shredded lettuce
1 loaf Italian bread, cut in half lengthwise
1 package (9 ounce size) deli sliced meat, any variety
6 slices cheese
1 large tomato, thinly sliced
1 medium green bell pepper, thinly sliced
directions
Mix mayo and dressing. Toss lettuce with 1/4 cup of the mayo mixture. Brush cut surfaces of bread with remaining mayo mixture.
Fill bread with meat, cheese slices, tomato, green pepper, and lettuce mixture. Cut into serving pieces.
