A homemade breakfast energy drink is a great way to start your day. Oatmeal adds fiber and protein to this nutritious beverage.

ingredients

1 banana, peeled and sliced
2 tablespoons honey
1 cup milk
1/2 cup quick oatmeal (uncooked)

directions

Combine all the ingredients in a blender. Process until smooth. Add additional milk if desired to adjust the consistency. Pour into a glass and serve immediately.
