Corn Dog Casserole

30-60 minutes
ingredients
3/4 pound hot dogs
1 egg
3/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon thyme
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 package (8.5 ounce size) cornbread mix
non-stick cooking spray
ketchup & mustard
directions
Slice hot dogs.
Spray skillet with non-stick cooking spray and saute hot dogs for 5 minutes. Reserve 1 cup of the hot dogs and put the rest in a bowl.
In a separate bowl, combine eggs, milk, thyme and pepper. Add hot dogs. Stir in cornbread mix.
Spread mixture in shallow 1-1/2 qt. dish. Top with reserved hot dogs. Bake at 400 degrees F for 30 minutes.
Cut into squares and serve with ketchup and mustard for dipping.
