ingredients

2 large eggs, lightly beaten
2 cups milk
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups biscuits, crumbled
1/2 cup raisins, optional

directions

Combine first 6 ingredients; add crumbled biscuits and, if desired, raisins, stirring well. Spoon into a lightly greased 9-inch square pan.

Bake at 350 degrees F for 40 minutes or until a knife inserted in center comes out clean.
