4 cups cooked black-eyed peas
OR
2 cans (1 pound size) black-eyed peas, drained and rinsed
1 teaspoon dried sage
1 can (8 ounce size) tomato sauce
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
8 ounces ham
1 tablespoon olive oil
pepper
directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl, then transfer to a 9 x 13 inch baking pan. Cover and bake for 30 minutes.
