This iconic whiskey is a "Jack of all trades" when it comes to cooking. Toss it in some pasta, as a savory dipping sauce, and even bake it into something sweet.

This quick method will give you a similar flavor to traditional smoked eggs (which are a lot more work). Serve the smoky eggs as an appetizer or snack, similar to pickled eggs.

6 hard-boiled eggs
1/2 cup water
3 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons Liquid Smoke
1 teaspoon sugar
Peel the shells from the hard-boiled eggs and rinse them to remove any small fragments left. Place the eggs in a pint-sized jar.
Combine the water, soy sauce, Liquid Smoke, and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a simmer and cook, stirring frequently, until the sugar has dissolved.
Pour the liquid smoke mixture over the eggs in the jar. Cover the jar tightly and refrigerate for 2 days. Turn the jar 2-3 times a day to coat the eggs in the smokey mixture.
When ready to eat, remove the eggs from the jar and slice thinly. Serve on crackers or cocktail bread.

This Italian cheese is so versatile that it can be used in both sweet and savory recipes from cheesecakes to lasagnas.
The name, vodka, comes from the Russian phrase zhiznennaia voda, or "water of life". It can be made from everything from potatoes to beets. It's considered to be fairly flavorless which makes it a great liquor for mixed drinks.
