This iconic whiskey is a "Jack of all trades" when it comes to cooking. Toss it in some pasta, as a savory dipping sauce, and even bake it into something sweet.

- #82323

under 30 minutes
ingredients
1 cup mayonnaise
3 tablespoons mustard
1 large onion, finely minced
3 tablespoons poppy seeds
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 pound Virginia baked ham
1/2 pound sliced Swiss cheese
3 packages party rolls, sliced in half
directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Blend together mayonnaise, poppy seeds, onion, mustard and Worcestershire sauce. Spread sauce on the insides of both sides of buns (you don't want this too thick; you will probably have some of the sauce left over when you finish, it makes a great hamburger or sandwich spread!).
Add ham and cheese slices (make sure that you have cheese on both sides of ham; when it melts, it helps hold the sandwich together).
If you like you can spread sauce on top of rolls before baking. Wrap with foil.
Bake for 15 minutes or until heated through.

Beer makes batters better, meat more tender, and sauces more flavorful.
The name, vodka, comes from the Russian phrase zhiznennaia voda, or "water of life". It can be made from everything from potatoes to beets. It's considered to be fairly flavorless which makes it a great liquor for mixed drinks.
