Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.

Had a hard time finding the cheese sauce mix so I ended up just using a pkt that comes with mac and cheese. Makes a lot so very good for a large group. I do think the 150F is wrong. I cooked it at 250F like I've done other recipes and that was right at least in my opinion.
