Cream Cheese Cut-Out Cookies

ingredients
1 cup butter, softened
1 package (8 ounce size) cream cheese
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
directions
In large bowl mix butter, cream cheese and sugar until creamy. Then add egg, vanilla and almond extract. Blend well.
Mix in flour and baking powder. Refrigerate dough 1 1/2 hours.
Roll out dough 1/2 at a time. Cut out with cookie cutter.
Bake at 375 degrees 2 inches apart for 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned.

Make them every holiday! People love them I frost with Royal icing found at your local cake and candy supply store. Make a double batch and divide into 2 large zip locks store in frig 1 hour or even over night.

They tasted like sugar cookies without the sugar,no taste of cream cheese at all. They seem to need more cream cheese and sugar to keep up with how much floury taste they have.
