Simple seasoned tomato soup is decorated with a sour cream spider web for a delicious Halloween meal.
1 can (10.75 ounce size) condensed tomato soup
1/4 cup milk, plus more for thinning the sour cream
2 cups water
1 can (6 ounce size) tomato paste
1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon dried basil
salt and pepper, to taste
1/3 cup sour cream
Combine the tomato soup, milk, water, tomato paste, and Italian seasoning in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Bring the soup to a simmer. Add the basil, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1-2 minutes or until heated through.
Divide the soup among individual soup bowls.
Thin the sour cream with a little milk. Place the mixture in a squeeze bottle. Draw a spider web on the surface of the soup with the sour cream. Serve immediately.
