Ranking #1 in nearly every "favorite cookie" poll, the chocolate chip cookie is pretty much the go-to cookie of choice for both kids and grownups alike.

Fun jello shots layered to look like candy corn using lemon and orange jello. Made with vodka and water but can be made non-alcoholic if desired.
Yellow Layer
1 box (3 ounce size) lemon gelatin powder
1 cup boiling water
1/2 cup vodka (chilled)
1/2 cup cold water
Orange Layer
1 box (3 ounce size) orange gelatin powder
1 cup boiling water
1/2 cup vodka (chilled)
1/2 cup cold water
White Layer
whipped cream
Yellow Layer: Combine the lemon gelatin powder and boiling water in a bowl and stir well to dissolve. Add the chilled vodka and cold water. Mix. Pour into shot glasses, filling no more than 1/3rd full to leave room for the other layers. Place the shot glasses in the refrigerator and chill until set.
Orange Layer: Combine the orange gelatin powder and boiling water in a bowl and stir well to dissolve. Add the chilled vodka and cold water. Mix. Pour into the shot glasses over the chilled yellow layer, filling no more than 2/3rds full to leave room for the last layer. Place in the refrigerator and chill until set.
When the gelatin layers are fully set, top the orange layers with whipped cream, filling to the top of the shot glass.
To serve: you can serve these with a small spoon if using large shot glasses or set the glasses in warm water to loosen the gelatin so it will slide out more easily.
Number of servings will vary by size of shot glasses used. For non-alcoholic treats, use cold water in place of the vodka.

Love buffalo wings? Get that same hot, zippy flavor in everything from deviled eggs to enchiladas. And of course: wings.
Not to be confused with evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk is very sweet (and very sticky) and used primarily in desserts.

These were cute and easy to prepare. And a good way to imbibe at the Halloween party we threw. When I told people what they were, however, I found that they expected them to taste like actual candy corn. They didn't, they tasted like orange and lemon, naturally.

Super easy to make and they pack a real punch. You can alter the amount of vodka (1/4 cup + 3/4 cup cold water) if you want less potent versions. You can also substitute flavored vodka if you wish.
