This iconic whiskey is a "Jack of all trades" when it comes to cooking. Toss it in some pasta, as a savory dipping sauce, and even bake it into something sweet.

3 pounds ground beef
2 teaspoons salt
1 onion, chopped very fine
4 cups ketchup
1 bottle (2 ounce size) Mexene chili powder, or to taste
1 cup water
Combine the ground beef, salt, onion, ketchup, chili powder, and water in a large saucepan over medium-high heat. Mix well, breaking up the beef, then bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to a simmer and cook, uncovered, for 1 hour. Stir the sauce frequently, pressing down to break up the beef until it is very fine.
Serve the sauce warm over hotdogs in buns with any additional condiments as desired.
