ingredients
1 pound ground spicy pork sausage
1 medium onion, chopped
1 red or green bell pepper, chopped
1 can (16 ounce size) stewed tomatoes, undrained
1 can (10.75 ounce size) cream of mushroom soup
1 can (10 ounce size) condensed tomato soup
1/2 pound spaghetti, cooked according to package directions and drained
1/2 pound fresh mushrooms, chopped
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
salt, to taste
1 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Crumble sausage into large skillet. Cook over medium heat until lightly browned. Remove sausage. Add onion and red pepper to skillet and cook and stir until tender.
Place in large bowl. Stir in tomatoes with juice, soups, spaghetti, mushrooms, garlic, black pepper, salt and reserved sausage.
Place in a 3-quart casserole. Sprinkle with cheese and bake, uncovered, for 30 to 35 minutes.
