Polish Pasta With Kielbasa Sausage

ingredients
1 pound medium shell pasta, uncooked
1 pound kielbasa sausage, sliced 1/4 inch thick
1 medium onion, sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 can (16 ounce size) cannellini beans, rinsed and drained
3 tablespoons ketchup
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
salt to taste (optional)
freshly ground black pepper, to taste
1/2 cup water or broth
directions
Cook the pasta as directed on the package. Drain well.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sausage, onion, and garlic. Cook, stirring, until the onions are soft.
Add the beans, ketchup, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix well. Cover the skillet and let cook for 3-5 more minutes.
Add the water to the skillet and stir in the cooked pasta. Serve immediately.
