The name, vodka, comes from the Russian phrase zhiznennaia voda, or "water of life". It can be made from everything from potatoes to beets. It's considered to be fairly flavorless which makes it a great liquor for mixed drinks.

1 cup creamy commercial peanut butter
1 can (14.8 ounce size) chicken broth
1/4 cup fresh lime juice
3 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons chopped, peeled fresh ginger
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
Add the peanut butter to a heavy saucepan. Stir in the broth slowly until the mixture is smooth. Add the lime juice, brown sugar, soy sauce, ginger, and crushed red pepper. Heat over medium heat, stirring frequently, for 5-6 minutes. Remove from the heat and let cool slightly.
