1 cup creamy commercial peanut butter
1 can (14.8 ounce size) chicken broth
1/4 cup fresh lime juice
3 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons chopped, peeled fresh ginger
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

directions

Add the peanut butter to a heavy saucepan. Stir in the broth slowly until the mixture is smooth. Add the lime juice, brown sugar, soy sauce, ginger, and crushed red pepper. Heat over medium heat, stirring frequently, for 5-6 minutes. Remove from the heat and let cool slightly.

    Turned out to be a tasty sauce. Next time, I would probably cut back on the lime juice a little bit. It threw a "tart" note in there that I could have done without.
