It may look like a sad little package shoved in the back of your freezer, but frozen spinach actually has a lot of culinary uses (and some may surprise you).

A smoothie so easy it feels like cheating. Orange sherbet and buttermilk blended together make a refreshing treat that really does taste like cheesecake.

1 cup orange sherbet
1 cup buttermilk
Combine the sherbet and buttermilk in a blender. Process until smooth. Pour into a glass and serve immediately.
You can add a dash of vanilla if desired.

Keeping a can of frozen orange juice concentrate in the freezer means you can make more than just orange juice. Try it in a variety of orange-flavored recipes.
Not to be confused with evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk is very sweet (and very sticky) and used primarily in desserts.

We had these as kids - called them Orange Spin. I'm not a big fan of buttermilk, but these smoothie shakes are wonderful !!
