ingredients
1 cup orange juice
1/2 cup sake
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 teaspoon dried crushed red pepper
2 teaspoons water
1 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
directions
Combine orange juice, sake, sugar, soy sauce, and red pepper in heavy small saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring until sugar dissolves. Boil until mixture is reduced to 1 1/4 cups, about 5 minutes.
Dissolve cornstarch in the water, stirring until smooth. Add cornstarch mixture to orange juice mixture and boil until sauce thickens and is clear, stirring constantly, about 1 minute.
