1 pound powdered sugar
1 cup butter or margarine
2 cups smooth peanut butter
2 cups Rice Krispies
12 ounces chocolate chips
2 tablespoons shortening
Combine first three ingredients in mixing bowl. Gradually add the Rice Krispies until the mixture is well blended. Roll into balls, place on wax paper and chill in the refrigerator for about an hour.
While they are chilling, melt the chocolate chips and shortening in a double boiler. Using a toothpick, dip the peanut butter balls into the chocolate mix and place on wax paper and allow them to cool in the refrigerator until hardened.
