ingredients

2 pounds tri tip meat, sliced 3/4" thick
1 can (8 ounce size) tomato sauce
1 can (12 oz size) beer (lager)
2 teaspoons mustard
3 teaspoons butter
3 teaspoons chili powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon garlic
1 medium green bell pepper sliced
1 medium red bell pepper, sliced
1 medium white onion, sliced

directions

Combine all ingredients in crockpot.

Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours.

Serve wrapped in tortillas, over rice, or however you wish.

    The beer really tenderizes the tri tip nicely. This was very good. I added the vegetables during the last 2 hours of cooking so they weren't overcooked. Served on tortillas with guacamole, shredded lettuce, sour cream, and salsa.
