ingredients
3 cups white wine vinegar
1 rose bud (to place in bottle)
5 cups rose petals, lightly crushed
directions
Add the vinegar to the crushed rose petals. Place in a glass jar or crock and cover. Place in cool place for 4 weeks. Taste occasionally to check the vinegar flavor.
When ready, use a coffee filter or several layers of cheesecloth to strain the mixture. Place the rose bud into a bottle. Bottle and cork the rose flavored vinegar, then store in a cool dark place.
NOTE: Use roses free of any pesticides, do not use roses from florist.
