ingredients
1 filleted wild goose breast
3 medium onions, chopped
2 cans (8 ounce size) sliced mushrooms, drained
1 package (2 ounce size) slivered almonds
seasoned salt, to taste
2 packages Asian rice mix (like Rice a Roni)
3 large stalks celery, cut into pieces
2 bell peppers, red and green, cut into strips
directions
Rinse goose breasts and par-boil for 20 minutes. Drain and reserve the broth. Let cook and cut into 1 inch cubes.
Saute the goose, onions, mushrooms, and almonds in a skillet for 15 minutes, then salt and pepper to taste, and add the seasoned salt if desired.
Prepare the rice according to package directions, using the reserved broth and adding the celery and pepper slices halfway through cooking time.
Combine the goose mixture and the rice mixture simmering for 15 minutes, then serve.
