Seasoned shrimp + homemade alfredo sauce + bacon = a quick and delicious dinner!

fettuccine noodles (or your favorite pasta)
2 pounds shrimp
1 medium onion
6 cloves garlic
1 cup butter or margarine
1 tablespoon Tabasco sauce
1/2 cup green onions
1 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese
3 cups whipping cream
1 pound cooked bacon
salt
black pepper
garlic powder
onion powder
cayenne pepper
Cook fettuccine noodles.
Saute onion and garlic in butter until transparent. Add shrimp, seasonings, and Tabasco sauce and cook for five minutes.
Remove shrimp and set aside. Add green onions, Parmesan cheese, and whipping cream and cook, stirring occasionally, until thick. (About 10-20 minutes).
Add bacon. Stir shrimp back in to sauce and pour over noodles.
For a less spicy version, omit the Tabasco sauce and red pepper

This recipe is AWESOME! I am one of those cooks that goes by sight, not measurements. A little bit of cornstarch in the sauce makes it a little thicker. Serve this with a nice glass of wine, some garlic bread and a green vegetable.
