Make macaroons the easy way by starting with some refrigerated cookie dough.

1 package (18 ounce size) refrigerated white chocolate chunk cookie dough
2 1/4 cups sweetened flaked coconut
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon coconut extract
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease baking sheets or line the baking sheets with parchment paper.
Break the cookie dough into small pieces and place in a large bowl. Add the coconut, vanilla extract, and coconut extract. Mix well, incorporating the ingredients into the cookie dough.
Drop the cookie dough mixture by rounded teaspoonfuls onto the prepared baking sheets. Place the baking sheets in the oven and bake at 350 degrees F for 10-12 minutes or until light golden brown.
Remove the baking sheets from the oven and let the cookies cool on the sheets for 2 minutes then remove them to wire racks to cool completely. Store the cooled cookies in an airtight container.

Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.
The name, vodka, comes from the Russian phrase zhiznennaia voda, or "water of life". It can be made from everything from potatoes to beets. It's considered to be fairly flavorless which makes it a great liquor for mixed drinks.
