Apple Honey Glazed Chicken

Apple jelly, dijon and cinnamon give a sweet tang to grilled breasts or thighs. Perfect for getting in the fall spirit, especially if you can find some fresh apple jelly

ingredients

1/3 cup apple jelly
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 chicken breast halves

directions

Heat grill.

In small bowl, combine all ingredients except chicken; blend well.

When ready to barbecue, oil grill rack. Brush chicken with apple mixture; place on gas grill over medium heat. Cook 15 to 20 minutes or until chicken is fork tender and juices run clear, turning occasionally and brushing frequently with apple mixture.

    Easy to make. Presentation on the grill looked great, mouth-watering. Taste...not all that great. None of the ingredients seemed to stay with the chicken. No hint of cinammon or the mustard, everything had kind of a "creamy" taste to it with no distinguishing flavors.

    This was really nice, my family loved it. Messy on the Foreman grill, but well worth it ;)

    This recipe was really easy, but I varied this by doubling the recipe by adding it to sauteed chicken chunks and thickening the sauce a bit and serving it over rice with some asparagus. My 16 yr old brother and his friends couldn't get enough of it! Whenever I don't know what to make for dinner I make this - sure to be a crowd pleaser.

    liked this very much - i did use some montreal seasoning on the chicken prior to basting with the sauce, just to give it a bit of a kick. made these for a lunch for the office & 48 other people liked it as well.
