Not to be confused with evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk is very sweet (and very sticky) and used primarily in desserts.

Using your crockpot is one of the best ways to get fall-off-the-bone tender ribs without a big hassle. Sweet brown sugar and honey BBQ sauce with a Cajun kick is the right choice for dinner tonight.

3/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
5 cups barbecue sauce
6 pounds pork or beef ribs, cut in serving pieces
Combine the brown sugar, honey, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and barbecue sauce in a bowl. Mix to dissolve the sugar and spices. Remove 1 cup of the sauce and place in a covered container in the refrigerator.
Place the ribs in the bottom of the crock pot. Pour the remaining sauce mixture over the ribs. Cover the crock pot and cook on low heat for 4-6 hours or until the meat is tender and falling off the bones.
Remove the ribs from the crock pot. Serve with the reserved barbecue sauce mixture.

The name, vodka, comes from the Russian phrase zhiznennaia voda, or "water of life". It can be made from everything from potatoes to beets. It's considered to be fairly flavorless which makes it a great liquor for mixed drinks.

I used babyback ribs in this and it was heavenly! Good combination of flavors in the sauce. One recommendation is to use a very basic bbq sauce for the base because the other flavors work really well together and a flavored sauce might throw them off. The ribs were almost tender after 6 hours so I turned the crock pot to warm setting and let them cook one more hour on warm and they were ready when we were for dinner.
