Hobo Ribs

ingredients
4 pounds spare or baby back ribs
water
salt
1/4 cup liquid smoke
2/3 cup ketchup
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 lemon, juiced
directions
Simmer ribs in boiling salted water (covered) for 30 minutes. Have water boiling before adding ribs. Drain ribs.
Mix sauce and pour over ribs. Bake at 350 degrees F about 1 hour or until browned. Or grill over low heat, brushing with sauce.

Rating this a 4 star because the ribs were perfectly cooked but there was too much liquid smoke. Cut it down to 1/8th cup (or less).
